GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to Defense" (Fund) is a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization on providing assistance to refugees. The Foundation focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Activities of the fund's projects, which are planned for implementation, include areas of increasing the capacity of local NGOs and establishing a dialogue between residents of communities, by local self-government bodies, representatives of local business, non-governmental organizations and other interested stakeholders, in order to increase social cohesion and economic capacity of communities.
BF "Right to protect" is looking for a candidate for the position ofProject coordinator in Kyiv.
DUTIES AND TASKS
TASKS WITHIN THE PROJECT
< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Working with project documentation and materials (drafting, editing, translation, writing reports, etc.);
Planning the implementation of project activities inaccording to the project work plan and budget;
Coordination of all project activities, for timely and effective achievement of project goals;
Control over the execution of project activities in the terms indicated by the plan , the fulfillment of activity targets and the overall goal of the project;
Formation of the project team together with program directions;
Establishing constructive cooperation with representatives of the project's target communities;
Administrative and organizational support of the project;
Participation in the organization of meetings and events within the framework of the project;
Preparation of timely reports for the Fund and donors in the agreed terms;
Communication with project partners and donors, both in the format of correspondence and meetings.
Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.
Professional requirements
at least 2 years of work experience in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity;
high self-motivation, independence, efficiency and the ability to meet deadlines - a must;
experience in organizing purchases/events and preparing financial documents;
fluency in the Ukrainian language and a high level of English (B2-C1);
excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;
ability to collect information according to project tasks;
skill preparation and writing of reports;
proactivity and excellent communication skills;
strategic thinking and problem solving skills;
experience of cooperation with local self-government bodies, active population groups in the community, will be an advantage.
