Functions:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the proper implementation of all activities and the financial and economic management of the project funded by the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). The project coordinator interacts with donors and institutional actors, limiting himself to project activities; works on the basis of the instructions of the head of the mission and contributes to the definition of the strategies of the organization in the country and the development of new projects. The project coordinator is responsible for the management and financial and economic management of the assigned project and all stages of its implementation, ensuring the achievement of goals and results. >
Responsibilities:
• Defines organizational and operational processes for project management (roles, procedures, decision-making systems, operational processes, work methodologies);
• Regularly participates in meetings with partners and representatives of local support networks to coordinate and organize project activities;
• Prepares, manages and monitors the overall and monthly planning of project activities, as well as financial and economic planning in accordance with the funds received from the donor;
• Ensures compliance with the budget and compliance with procedures established by the organization and donors;
• In coordination with the local main project partner and project staff, procures all goods, works and services required for the project;
• Responsible for all project documentation until its completion and transfer to the head of mission, ensuring proper documentation and reporting; narrative and financial reports to the principal partner as needed and the mission leader, providing regular updates on project progress and results;
• Contributes to monitoring and evaluation efforts by providing ideas and recommendations for future projects in coordination with the M&E department
• Provides information to the communications department regarding the intervention area and activities when requested or in critical cases;
• Provides the communications department with photographic and video documentation of the activities, indicating the content.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor of Social Sciences, Humanities, International Relations or similar; analytical, observational, documentation and reporting skills;
• Excellent ability to establish interpersonal relationships and negotiate with local authorities;
• Ability to work in a team and integrate into an international work team;
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Ability to act confidentially, with tact and diplomacy.
Languages: Good knowledge of English (required) and Ukrainian.
Threeduration of the contract: 8 months with the possibility of extension.
Start of the contract: October 2024.
Salary: 70,000 - 77,900 UAH per month depending on the candidate's experience.
