ClientOur client is a cybersecurity company which offers various services (such as penetration testing, monitoring, security assessments, etc.) and operates worldwide. They have recently acquired various other companies and are in the process of unifying tools and processes among their recently bought business units.Position overviewAs a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and management of our small business products/services to drive top line revenue growth in our existing compliance and cybersecurity solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive the product roadmap and ensure successful product launches. Your primary focus will be on delivering highly effective and user-friendly solutions in our platform(s) that meet or exceed the needs of our customers and helps protect their systems and data.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our suite of solutions, including defining the product vision, identifying market opportunities, and analyzing customer needs and requirementsCreate and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines the prioritized features, enhancements, and integrations based on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedbackCollaborate with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and insights to inform product development decisions. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and stay informed about industry trendsWork closely with engineering teams to drive the development of product deliverables, ensuring high-quality releases on time. Provide clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaChampion the importance of user experience and work closely with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to drive continuous improvementsStay informed about the competitive landscape, including analyzing competitor products and strategies, and use this information to inform product positioning and differentiationPlan and execute successful product launches, including coordinating with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and collateralMonitor key product metrics, user feedback, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement and guide future product enhancements. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and drive customer successEffectively communicate product plans, progress, and updates to internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparencyRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)Proven experience as a product manager, preferably in the cybersecurity/managed security services space or related fieldFamiliarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or ScrumExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable product requirementsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levelsExperience with user-centered design principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiencesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlinesStrong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive product innovationKnowledge of marketing and sales principles, with the ability to contribute to go-to-market strategiesNice to haveMBA or relevant advanced degreeFamiliarity with data analytics and experience using data to drive product decisions
