Product Manager (AI & Computer Vision) in Metinvest Digital

Metinvest Digital R&D Team is looking for a Product Manager (AI & Computer Vision) to focus on the development of Computer Vision and the company's key product SPAIS.

SPAIS (Smart Protection AI System) is a Computer Vision-based platform that automatically analyzes video streams to improve security, identify risks and improve operational efficiency.

This role is for those who want to combine deep technical understanding with business-oriented thinking, creating solutions that bring measurable value to clients in the field of industrial automation, occupational health and safety, production safety and public space monitoring - both in Ukraine and on international markets.

KEY TASKS:
• Formation of the SPAIS product development strategy - a platform based on Computer Vision for video stream analytics, risk monitoring and increasing the level of security in enterprises.
• Management of the complete product life cycle: from idea and PoC to scaling, commercialization and external access markets.
  • Initiation of new directions in the field of Computer Vision: detection of objects and events, recognition of dangerous situations, control of the use of PPE, behavior analytics and monitoring of public spaces.
• Ensuring the achievement of business results by direction: growth of the client base, product ROI, successful expansion into the markets of Europe and the Middle East.
• Coordination of the work of a cross-functional team (AI/ML Engineers, Computer Vision Developers, Backend, Frontend, DevOps) and effective interaction with business customers.
• Analysis of customer needs, formation of product solutions and demonstration of business effect for customers.
• Management of infrastructure stability and costs (Azure, GPU, services, licenses).
• Participation in pre-sale activities, preparation of presentations and technical and commercial justifications for potential customers in Ukraine and abroad border.

YOU ARE OUR CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE:
• 3+ years of experience managing product or technology teams (R&D / AI / Industrial Solutions).
• Practical understanding of Computer Vision — model architectures, MLOps, video stream analytics, model accuracy assessments.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP) and CI/CD-processes.
  • Understanding of related areas - LLM, IDP, Automation.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Kanban, ability to work in conditions of uncertainty and fast R&D cycle.
  • Analytical thinking, result orientation and systemic vision of product development.
  • English level — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or above.
