Centralized procurement organization DU "Professional procurement" announces a competition for the position Procurement manager according to the World Bank procedure.

Our ideal candidate:

• has experience in purchasing, category management;
• Above-intermediate level of English: The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Communication with representatives of the World Bank will take place mainly in English;
• has experience in purchasing or selling IT categories (will be an advantage);
• knows the main trends in the IT market, trends and features of this industry (will be an advantage);
• familiar with World Bank procurement procedure: Experience with World Bank procurement procedures is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organization and implementation of procurement procedures in accordance with the procurement procedure of the World Bank;
• Development of procurement strategies using a category approach;
• Formation of technical tasks in interaction with the customer;
• Preparation of tender documentation;
• Evaluation and selection of suppliers on a competitive basis;
• Interaction with internal and external stakeholders, in particular with representatives of the World Bank, customers and suppliers;
• Market analysis and monitoring of trends in the relevant product category.

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher education in economics, finance, management or other relevant field;
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in purchasing, category management or sales (preferably IT categories);
• Understanding of World Bank procurement procedures (advantage);
• Excellent communication skills;
• English - above average level;
• Analytical abilities and the ability to make strategic decisions;
• High responsibility, proactivity, organization and attention to details;
• Decency and high moral qualities.
