Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Since the full-scale war, we have already handed over 100 million dollars worth of humanitarian aid.We are looking for an experienced PR Manager to join Nova Ukraine, the leading US-based non-profit organization supporting Ukraine.This key role is designed to enhance Nova Ukraine's reputation as a leading non-profit organization in the United States by highlighting our role as a trusted partner providing comprehensive support, including financial assistance and innovative long-term solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strategic communications skills, media relations experience, and a passion for our mission to help amplify our voice as a vital player in Ukraine's support and development.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Communication: Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with Nova Ukraine’s mission, especially in the context of Ukraine’s current socio-political climate.Media Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with local and international media. Handle media inquiries, pitch stories across various important channels that would increase Nova Ukraine’s visibility in Ukraine (including local forums/Hromadas/Telegram Channels), and organize press events as necessary.Content Creation: Produce compelling content for multiple platforms, including press releases, UA social media, and UA email campaigns, ensuring alignment with our brand and mission.Crisis Management: Address crises or negative publicity with professionalism, developing strategies to mitigate impact.PR Waves Launch: Prepare and launch PR waves to promote and increase awareness of the brand.Media & Agency Negotiations: Search for and conduct negotiations with mass media and agencies.Media Planning & Budgeting: Prepare media plans and oversee budget planning.Material Preparation: Create all necessary materials for posting, including releases, creatives, and links with UTM tags.Analytics and Reporting: Collect statistics, analyze placements, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and strategies.Qualifications:- university degree (Journalism, Marketing, PR, Social Communications).- at least 5 years of experience as a PR or Communications Manager.- fluency in Ukrainian and English at least Upper-Intermediate level; additional languages are an advantage.- strong understanding of the Ukrainian media landscape and cultural sensitivities.- excellent written and verbal communication skills.- proficient in social media and digital communication tools.- commitment to Nova Ukraine’s mission and values.Working conditions:flexible working hours with the ability to work remotely; necessary resources to perform the tasks: a working laptop and an EcoFlow charging station (if necessary);official employment with the possibility of long-term cooperation. Working with us, you will receive:joining a team of change-makers that brings Ukraine closer to victory;professional and personal development in the team of one of the largest charitable foundations;a psychological support course at the expense of the organization;material support (in case of destruction of the home, as a result of shelling or for health reasons);first aid training and a personal first aid kit; birthday gifts.We will be happy to receive your CV with the level of salary you would like to see at [email protected] and consider your candidacy.
