will play a key role in supporting the implementation of strategic communication initiatives of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine. This position provides a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution and provide valuable assistance to the Ukrainian people. You will be responsible for coordinating and creating compelling and engaging content, engaging with donors and demonstrating the impact of the organization's work to inspire continued support. Using her knowledge of communications, storytelling and digital marketing, the Communications Specialist will make a significant contribution to strengthening donor relationships, increasing fundraising revenue and increasing awareness of the organization's mission.

In this position, you will work closely with the division resource mobilization (RM). The main mission of the RM unit is to build stable and trusting relationships with private donors (corporate and individual), increase public confidence in the Red Cross and provide the most convenient ways to support the work of the Red Cross, in order to retain and increase the income from these donors, so that the Red Cross can help as many as possible the needy in Ukraine.

Success indicators:

• Effectiveness of content: The success of a Communications Specialist can be measured based on the effectiveness of content created for fundraising campaigns. Content that resonates with donors and causes a positive response, such as increased donations and shares, reflects the success of his storytelling and communications skills.
• Positive feedback from donors: Positive donor feedback and recommendations for communication efforts indicate that the Specialist is effectively communicating the impact of the organization and fostering a sense of connection and appreciation among donors.
• Collaboration and teamwork: A successful Communications Specialist will work effectively with the fundraising team andunits, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.

Main tasks:

• Development of communication strategies:< /strong> Create and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with fundraising goals, ensuring consistency of messaging and brand representation.
• Content creation: Develop compelling and effective content for various fundraising campaigns, including emails, social media posts, website content, case studies, success stories and fundraising event materials. Ensure timely production of products related to humanitarian advocacy and diplomacy, such as news articles, digests, position papers, briefings and narratives.
• Brand communication: Oversee that all fundraising materials meet the brand standards and values ​​of the organization, maintaining a consistent and convincing brand image.
• Analysis Communications: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of fundraising communications efforts using data and metrics, providing insights to improve future communications strategies.
• Fundraising Materials: Responsible for materials development for fundraising, ensuring their accuracy, consistency and compliance with campaign goals.
• Preparation reports: Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, including fundraisers, management and donors.
• Trends and benchmarks: Track industry trends, indicators and best practices in in the field of communications and fundraising, introducing innovative approaches to measure success.

Additional tasks:

• Prepare theses and answers for various events in cooperation with the fundraising department.
• Cooperate with key partners of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in the EU and beyond beyond its borders to coordinate joint communication campaigns.
• Preparation of reports and briefings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related discipline . Additional certifications in fundraising or nonprofit management are a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in communications campaigns and marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector or a similar environment.
• High computer literacy , knowledge of e-mail, MS Office and other business and communication tools.
• Experience using various digital communication tools and platforms, including social networks, email, content management systems and donor databases.
• Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies to support fundraising goals is preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

• Experience of working with social networks and various media resources.
• Knowledge of current trends in communications and marketing is plus.
• Ability to create convincing narrativesand messaging to support fundraising is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines a plus.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills a plus.
• Work knowledge with databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of English is desirable, but not necessary.
• Ukrainian language - full professional level.
