Power BI Analyst in SmartTender

SmartTender is afast-growing product IT company.

Our key product is an online platform for public and commercial procurement of Ukraine.

Our tools help tens of thousands of commercial customers and government customers to find the necessary goods and services, as well as conduct transparent bidding.

Our clients:AMPU, Ukrposhta, UZ, Energoatom, Ukrtransgaz, Ukrenergo and many others.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Experience with Power BI from 1 year, including creating dashboards, data models, measures and calculations.

• In-depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query and basic data visualization techniques.

• SQL proficiency to write queries that extract and process data from various sources.

• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) will be a plus.

• Understanding of ETL principles, experience with data sources and knowledge of basic database concepts.

• Analytical thinking, the ability to quickly understand business needs and transform them into dashboards and reports.

• Knowledge of Power BI performance optimization methods, experience in building effective data models.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with Power BI Service, Power BI Embedded.

• Experience integrating Power BI with other systems (Azure, API).

• Knowledge of Python to perform advanced data analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Development, support and optimization of interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.

• Collection and analysis of business user requirements to create visualizations that provide useful information for decision-making.

• Integration of data from various sources (SQL databases, API, Excel) in Power BI.

• Using DAX and Power Query to create complex measures, calculations, and data transformations.

• Creating documented and understandable data models that support cross-functional analysis.

• Ensuring the quality and relevance of data in reports, monitoring the performance of dashboards.

• Collaboration with other departments (business analysts, developers, project managers) to identify opportunities to improve BI reporting.
