Required knowledge and skills

• Confident knowledge basics of relational databases: normalization levels, isolation, index types, data integrity support
• 5 years of experience with PostgreSQL DBMS;
• DBMS optimization skills, SQL query performance, experience in using and analyzing query plans, internal statistics, monitoring tools;
• Experience in developing procedures, triggers, external scripts using any development language except SQL
• Configuring replication processes: master-slave, logical, streaming
• Experience work with both OLTP and DWH
• Experience in developing strategies for backup, redundancy, upgrading PostgreSQL versions
• The level of command of the English language is sufficient for working with technical documentation and business correspondence

• Development, optimization of sql queries, development of scripts/procedures/triggers in the PostgreSQL database
• Analysis of business requirements of the company's financial department, and development of relevant SQL queries
• Designing and developing the structure of new database objects (tables, representations, etc.)
• Deployment, configuration of DWH, development of etl processes of DWH filling
