PHP Developer in Cortance

Cortance is seeking a versatile and experienced Middle/Senior Back-end Engineer proficient in PHP and PHP-related technologies to join our dynamic team. As a Back-end Engineer, you'll contribute to building robust and scalable applications and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier solutions.

Requirements:

- Proven experience (3+ years for middle, 5+ years for senior) as a Back-end Engineer with expertise in PHP;

- Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, and related web technologies;

- Experience with database management using MySQL or similar technologies;

- Solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP principles, and design patterns;

- Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines;

- Knowledge of RESTful API development and consumption;

- Familiarity with Git version control and agile development methodologies;

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

- Good communication (at least b2 level of English) and teamwork abilities;

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP);

- Experience working with other PHP-related frameworks;
- Skills in working with Apache2, Linux, Symfony, GitHub and VM.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain robust backend systems using PHP and PHP related frameworks, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance;

- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services;

- Architect and optimize database structures, ensuring data integrity and performance;

- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PHP development;

- Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;
