Vending.Land has created the largest network of self-service washing machines TM "Postiraika" in Ukraine, which make life easier for more than 50,000 students of Ukrainian universities. Despite the difficult economic situation in Ukraine, our company continues to work and gradually recovers to the pre-war period of work. In this regard, the development team needs remote employment "Back-end developer (PHP/Symfony)".

Your duties:

• development of the backend part of the project on Symfony 6+ (PHP 8+)
• writing new code, bug-fixing existing code
• writing self-tests for new and existing code
• quickly and effectively responding to incidents and force majeure situations

Requirements for candidate:

• commercial development experience on PHP 8+ from 2 years
• certain experience with Symfony and its components (Doctrine, Console, Messenger, Validator, Lock, etc.)
• experience with MariaDB/MySQL and MongoDB databases
• understanding and practical experience with message brokers RabbitMQ and MQTT (Mosquitto)
• understanding of HTTP and RESTAPI
• confident understanding of OOP principles and their practical application
• knowledge and use of SOLID principles in everyday development
• understanding of ACID and transactional data integrity
• understanding of design patterns and the ability to apply them in practice
• experience in writing maintainable, tested and extensible code
