Proliska NGO announces a competition to fill the vacant position of Photographer/Videographer (Uzhgorod)

Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that since 2014, it has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military operations in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support for the most vulnerable persons affected by military operations; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the war zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the line of hostilities and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VACANCY INCLUDES PERMANENT TRAVEL TO REGIONAL CENTERS UKRAINE AND POPULATED POINTS CLOSE TO THE ZONE OF COMBAT ACTIONS (Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia Oblasts (on territories controlled by the Government of Ukraine) and Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Poltava Oblasts).

I. Requirements for contestants:

• Higher education will be an advantage;
• Full-time employment;
• At least 2 years of experience as a photographer/ videographer; 
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian;
• Ability to work with video editing software;
• Knowledge of color and light theory;
• Ability work with sound and effects;
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other relevant graphic media applications (will be an advantage);
• Excellent communication skills;
• High speed and quality of task performance;
• Responsibility and organization;
• Performance of duties guided by gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment;
• Adherence to humanitarian principles .
• Readiness to travel to the combat zone in territories under the control of the Government of Ukraine.
• Employment of persons with disabilities is an advantage.

II. Functional duties:

• Shooting and editing videos for YouTube, social media. networks, etc., with trips to filming locations in the regional centers of Ukraine and settlements close to the war zone, where the teams of the Public Organization "Proliska" work.
• Working with software for video editing.
< li>Color and light correction, sound processing.
• Other services in accordance with the position, if necessary.

• Employment contract until December 31, 2024 with the possibility of extension, depending on further funding and personal work results.
