Partnership Assistant/Partnership Assistant in Save the Children

Save the Children International is a humanitarian organization with more than 100 years of history. Save the Children was founded in May 1919 in London. SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. It started its work in the Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine, and Kharkiv is one of them. We work in the areas of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also conduct advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.

We are currently looking for anPartnership Development Assistant.  The main objective of the position is to be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Save the Children Country Strategic Plan, ensuring that Save the Children benefits from mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships to achieve common goals and outcomes for children, while strengthening civil society. p>

Responsibilities:

• Help in the development and implementation of the partnership strategy at the local level
• Support in the identification and research of new partnerships that will contribute to the implementation of the Strategic Plan of Save the Children's Country
• Creating a network and identifying potential partners for joint work
• Carrying out mapping of stakeholders and partners , as needed for new and ongoing projects 
• Identify networking opportunities and attend conferences and events to expand knowledge of potential partners' expertise
• Assist in organizational capacity assessment according to Save tools and procedures the Children to attract new implementing partners
• Regular update of the Save the Children partnership map and all relevant trackers in the partnership department
• At the request of the AO or CO management, provide the necessary data on the partnership portfolio and results partner activities
• In coordination with Save the Children, technical department, support department and MEAL department, assist in regular monitoring visits to partners to obtain feedback on organizational development and needs

Requirements:

•  Minimum 1 year of experience in the humanitarian sector/NGOs, program-based or community-based programming
• Thorough knowledge of civil society organizations, international NGOs, government structures
• Learning skills, facilitation and capacity building
• Experience representing at the field level with key stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written English, Ukrainian and Russian language skills (required)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Political and cultural sensitivity with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy
• Computer proficiency (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and ability to conduct Internet research< /li>
• Analytical abilities
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and prudence in handling confidential informationinformation
