We are currently seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) Consultant/Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OSINT and SINT (Social Intelligence) techniques and tools, and will play a pivotal role in guiding our strategic and operational decisions in these areas.
Responsibilities
- Consulting and Advisory: Provide expert advice on the best OSINT tools and techniques suited to our organisational goals and requirements.
- Tool Selection: Evaluate and recommend OSINT tools that align with DKG’s specific needs, ensuring they provide comprehensive and actionable intelligence.
- Technique Application: Develop and implement effective OSINT techniques for data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
- Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of internal teams in OSINT and SINT methodologies.
- Operational Support: Assist in the integration of OSINT tools and techniques into existing workflows and systems.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term OSINT strategies to support organisational growth and security.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for senior management.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the OSINT and SINT fields to ensure DKG remains at the forefront of intelligence gathering.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in OSINT and SINT, with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using a variety of OSINT tools such as Maltego, Recon-ng, Shodan, and others.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret and synthesise vast amounts of data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Training Ability: Experience in conducting training and workshops for diverse audiences.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy laws and ethical considerations in intelligence gathering.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified OSINT Professional (COP), GIAC Open Source Intelligence (GOSI), or equivalent are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and provide actionable intelligence.
- Project Management: Experience in managing OSINT projects from inception to completion.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
