Operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine LLC has an open position:

Occupational safety engineer

Functional responsibilities:

• Conducting induction training for employees of the Office on issues of labor protection, civil protection, fire safety and actions in emergency situations;
• Performing control over timely and high-quality conducting of the necessary briefings in the divisions, participation in the commission for checking the knowledge of regulatory acts on labor protection and fire safety of the employees of the Department; of work, the development of funds allocated for these measures by the Department;
• Planning of work on the implementation of inspections of the state of labor protection, fire safety in structural units, their organization and implementation, control over the timely implementation of schedules of inspections on labor protection, adoption participation in them;
• Preparation of draft orders and orders on occupational safety, fire safety and civil protection for the Department;
• Organization of meetings on improving work on occupational safety, fire safety and civil protection protection

Organization and participation in:

• providing workers with rules, standards, norms, provisions, instructions and other regulatory acts on labor protection, fire safety;
• recording, analysis of accidents, occupational diseases and accidents, as well as damage from these events;
• development of prospective work plans regarding the creation of safe and harmless working conditions;
• checking the knowledge of employees on occupational health and fire safety issues;
• propaganda of safe and harmless working conditions by conducting consultations, reviews, discussions, lectures, dissemination means of visual propaganda, etc.;
• development of regulations, instructions, other normative acts on labor protection, fire safety.

 Performance of control according to:

• observance of current legislation and current local normative acts, implementation by employees of job instructions on labor protection, fire safety;
• implementation of prescriptions of state supervision bodies, proposals and submissions of the trade union on issues of occupational health and safety, fire safety, use of the funds of the occupational health and fire safety fund as intended;
• compliance with regulations on occupational health and fire safety of machines, mechanisms, equipment, vehicles, technological processes, means of emergency, collective and individual protection of workers; the availability of technological documentation at workplaces;
• timely conduct of training and briefings of workers, certification and re-certification on labor safety issues of officials and persons performing high-risk work, as well as compliance with safety requirements when performing these works;< /li>
• providing workers with personal protective equipment, milk or equivalent food products, detergents, sanitary facilities; organization of the drinking regimemu; providing employees with benefits and compensations provided for by law, related to harmful working conditions;
• using the labor of women and disabled people in accordance with current legislation;
• passing preliminary (upon hiring) and periodic (during employment) medical examinations of employees employed in jobs with harmful or dangerous working conditions or those where there is a need for professional selection;
• implementation of measures, orders, orders on labor protection, fire safety and civil protection, as well as measures to eliminate the causes of accidents and accidents, which are defined in the investigation reports

Necessary skills and knowledge:

• Vocational and technical education or higher;
• Knowledge of computer programs Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
