We are looking for an engineer for labor protection and fire safety to join our team in Kyiv.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the field of labor protection and fire safety; practical skills of conducting briefings, audits and risk assessment;
• Understanding the procedure of investigation of accidents and occupational diseases;
• Experience of interaction with regulatory bodies will be an advantage;
• Willingness to organize and conduct specialized training/training;
• Availability of a valid state occupational safety certificate is an advantage (or willingness to undergo training at the expense of the company and renew certificate every 3 years);
• Attention to details, organization, responsibility and ethics;
• Readiness for business trips.

Main duties:

• Development and maintenance of occupational health and fire safety documentation, control of compliance with legal requirements.
• Conducting risk assessments, regular inspections of workplaces (office/warehouse/production) and control over the elimination of violations.
• Organization and conducting of trainings on labor protection and fire safety, support of a culture of safe work in a team.
• Participation in the investigation of incidents and accidents, preparation of recommendations to prevent repeated situations.
• Control of provision of first-aid kits, personal protective equipment (as needed), as well as the organization of medical examinations of employees.
• Control of fire safety at locations: fire extinguishers, escape routes, safety signs, interaction with contractors regarding technical maintenance of systems.
• Interaction with regulatory bodies, reporting and support of inspections within the scope of competence.
