Node.js Engineer in Axon Development Group

You will create a unique corporate training AI video platform that allows employees to improve their professional skills within the workflow. The product has been in production for a year and is actively used by hundreds of companies for onboarding, adaptation and training of employees. 

The product development team includes more than 20 Middle and Senior level engineers from Ukraine, USA and Israel. The Ukrainian team is focused on R&D tasks.

The high professional level of product managers with more than 10 years of management and engineering experience allows comfortable and effectively build processes in the team and create a profitable product of high quality.  

Job requirements:

• About 4 years of relevant commercial experience in Node.js development
• Experience working with such frameworks such as: Express or Nest.js;
• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP / AWS / Azure;
• Practical experience with databases - MongoDB/MySql/Redis/ElasticSearch;
• Knowledge of JavaScript design patterns, SOLID principles;
• Experience with TypeScript will be an advantage;
• Work experience with Video processing (FFMPEG) will be a significant advantage; 
• Experience of working with Agile methodology;
• Experience of using the Git version control system;
• Intermediate English for communication with foreign colleagues.

Responsibilities on the project

• Analyze and evaluate the implementation of business requirements;
• Identify and propose the best technological solutions to achieve excellence in system development;
• Develop solutions using Node.js and related of technologies;
• Study and implement the latest technologies and practices;
• Follow up on innovations in the field of technology and support the development of the R&D department; 
• Participate in design and code reviews.
