For our client, an IT company, we realize a recruitment process on the position Network Infrastructure Consultant

Location: remote from Poland/ Hybrid from Warsaw

Ideal Candidate:

• A practical professional with 3 years + of experience in IT Networking. 
• Experience in working in the team responsible for IT network designing, administration, and management related to ongoing modernization initiatives and acquisitions. 
• Knowledgeable in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT infrastructure. 
• An effective collaborator with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
• Nice to have experience in automation and scripting of deployment, configuration, and operations of the network components and services. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Polish and English 

Preferred Experience:

• Extensive experience with IT networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Routing and Switching, Load Balancing, Firewall). 
• Extensive knowledge of IT network security topics (e.g. SSL/TLS, Network- and Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Services). 
• Good understanding of different VPN setups – Fortinet, Cisco, etc. 
• Practical knowledge of routing protocols, BGP and OSPF. 
• Extensive knowledge of SDWAN especially Fortinet SDWAN ADVPN. 
• Competence in Fortinet and Cisco network device administration. 
• Practical hands-on experience in Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer, FortiNAC and FortiEMS. 
• Familiarity with Azure network in general. 
• Proficient in designing and implementing Azure network solutions and services, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security. 
• Equipped to monitor IT network services, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues of the network infrastructure running EG's customer-facing systems. 
• Providing network (on-premises and virtual) infrastructure solutions that are compliant with the best IT Security measures and EG's standards. 
• Knowledge oriented to maintenance and administrative purposes on Windows and/or Linux servers is a plus.
