General description of the vacancy

The vacancy involves work in the field of IT infrastructure maintenance and the provision of consulting services regarding the systems and software complexes used in the MOU. 

ONLY for reserve officers with the signing of a contract before the announcement of the decision on demobilization and appointment to a position in one of the MOU units.

Main functions

• Data center administration and interaction networks. 
• Administration and updating of Cisco hardware and software devices (FirePower, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst, ISE), Fotrinet (Fortiswitch), Mikrotik. 
• Administration of VMWare NSX-T virtual networks. 
• Work with providers, maintenance of external network services (DNS, VPN, autonomous system). 
• Design, construction and maintenance of a network on SD-WAN. 
• Planning of channel capacity and selection of equipment for data centers and remote locations. 
• Participation in projects to implement military services and systems. 
• Load balancing and ensuring fault tolerance of data center services for users. 
• Close cooperation with cyber security specialists. 
• Documentation of network and service settings. 
• Working with KZI devices of Ukrainian production. 
• Administration of *nix network assignment systems. 
• Infrastructure monitoring and automation of administration tasks
• Troubleshooting and system recovery. 
• Working with the Service desk system (2nd line).

Main requirements

• Experience in the administration of networks based on Cisco, Fotrinet, Mikrotik and virtual networks.  (creation of entities, deployment, updating, documentation).
• Experience in the administration of Cisco software and hardware solutions, automation of work using PowerShell scripts. 
• Understanding the principles of operation of basic services and protection systems. 
• Ability to use monitoring systems to prevent problems. 
• System recovery skills. 
• Experience in the administration of organizations from 500+ users. 
• Working in systems with a distributed architecture of 2+ sites and 10+ branches.
• Working with clusters and other systems of increasing fault tolerance and high availability. 
• Expenditure planning for hardware and software. 
• Calculation of the number of necessary licenses and meetings with software manufacturers.
• Availability of official certifications is welcome.

• Military service under contract, all types of military support, office in the center of Kyiv (5/2 9-18), official housing is not provided.
