.NET Software Engineer

Avenga is looking for a skilled .NET Engineer in Ukraine for our American project.
Our customer is an online enterprise-grade food ordering platform used by many of the US’s largest restaurant chains and millions of users. It integrates with the brands’ existing systems, opening new digital revenue streams that are effortlessly injected into the restaurant’s operations.
As a .NET Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using different .NET frameworks.

What do you bring along:

• 4+ years of commercial experience with .NET (C#);
• Strong proficiency in .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8;
• Good understanding of REST, API Design;
• Familiarity with services communication/integration/failures handling, availability, elasticity, etc.;
• Proficiency in MSSQL, PostgreSQL (or similar relational database tooling);
• Experience in production monitoring, logging, and observability;
• Ability to work on a shifted schedule approximately until 9 p.m.;
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with F# (or readiness to learn it quickly);
• Experience with distributed systems.

• Write clean, maintainable, test-covered code and work with our product team to create great products for our customers;
• Collaborate with our product and design team to understand the needs of our customers that will shape the technology solutions;
• Observe system performance in our domain, identifying problems and leading the team to resolve issues quickly;
• Demonstrate broad and deep knowledge of software engineering concepts.
