emergency aid, and we also advocate for the rights of children and youth together with other partner organizations. Our organization is a member of the international federation SOS Children's Villages International (SOS Kinderdorf). We work in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and spread its principles.

The position involves a business trip within the Chernivtsi region.

 Professional and skills:

  • Higher education in the field of project research, social work, psychology, sociology or related disciplines, combined with advanced skills and knowledge in the field of research methodology;
  • Proven experience of working with result matrices and performance monitoring in the field of development evaluation/humanitarian activities for 3 years or more;
  • Experience of communicating with different categories of the population, tolerance, friendliness, ability to competently conduct business communication;
  • Knowledge and experience working with child and family development programs, and/or child protection in emergency situations, and/or working with conflict-affected children, and/or conducting vulnerability assessments of such children;
  • Excellent research, comparison, monitoring and evaluation skills;
  • Excellent Excel skills< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal">;
  • Manageability, reliability, results orientation, understanding and knowledge of tools training and evaluations;
  • Political correctness, respect for cultural differences, neutrality and impartiality.

Main functionality:

  • Implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities: development of detailed work plan, methodologies, main aspects of the visit and reports to be provided;

  • Preparation of a report with an analysis of each monitoring visit, which should be focused on achieving the set goals;

  • Assessment of relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and quality of services provided within the project;

  • Monitoring key factors including child safety, preventing staff burnout, integrity and compliance;

  • Performing monitoring visits;

  • Detailed analysis of partner reports, work with tables, information;

  • Providing effective, concrete, practical and strategic recommendations on how SOS Children's Towns Ukraine and their partners can strengthen and improve further work in the region.
