Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (MEAL) in Tviy shlyah, GO

The NGO "Your Way" during the implementation of the project "Supporting the population in the territories of Kyiv region, polluted by GNP, through the activities of the social center and the mobile group" with the assistance of UNDP, announces a competition for the position of "Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (MEAL) )".

Responsibilities:

• Development and improvement of data collection tools, assessment and monitoring forms and methods; 
• Development of the internal monitoring and evaluation system;
• Participation in strategic project planning and discussion of potential activities;
• Conducting and analyzing expert surveys, stakeholder surveys;

• Development of a detailed project monitoring plan based on indicators in a logical scheme, including data collection tools and methods, as well as monitoring and evaluation schedules;
• Planning and conducting research;
• Carrying out monitoring visits to each project location with subsequent preparation of monitoring reports containing statistical and analytical information on the achievement of project performance indicators and recommendations for improvement;
• Monitoring the proper functioning of the monitoring and evaluation system;
• Control over the achievement of the planned project indicators;
• Checking the systematicity of collecting, analyzing and using the feedback of beneficiaries to improve the quality of the project;
• Analyzing data in order to assess the effectiveness of the project and identify areas that needs to be improved;
• Preparation of periodic monitoring and evaluation reports;
• Organization of research and needs assessment upon request;
• Cooperation with project staff, structural units, partners and stakeholders to integrate MEAL into all aspects of project implementation;
• Cooperation with monitoring and evaluation specialists at the local level, representatives of local authorities;
• Performance of other tasks related to monitoring and project evaluation.

Requirements:

• residence in Kyiv or the suburbs,
• fluent English (as written and spoken),
• competent Ukrainian language,
• complete higher education (economics, social sciences, management),
• general knowledge in the field of the project cycle , sociology, social work,
• work experience in a similar position from 2 years,
• ability to work in computer programs for data processing and visualization,
• ability to work with databases, project indicator monitoring systems,
• computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, search engines, Internet),
• strong analytical abilities and the ability to problem solving,
• ability to work independently and in a team.
