JOB INFORMATION

Accountable and technically supported by the Customer Response and Accountability (CRA) Specialist, the Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant performs well-defined tasks at the field office level that will ensure that feedback mechanisms (proactive and reactive) are established, regular promotion, collection of feedback and timely response to them. He/she will contribute to strengthening IRC program monitoring efforts to optimize the monitoring, accountability and training practices of the IRC mission in Ukraine to ensure quality programming focused on the needs of our clients and support the global ambitions of IRC's Strategy 100. The position belongs to the central structure, but it is expected that the candidate will be physically located in Odesa.

KEY DUTIES

  • Promoting the feedback mechanism : Regularly promote the customer feedback mechanism/channels throughout the project area and ensure that these channels are well known to customers, staff, etc. and are accessible to all stakeholders.  
  • Collect feedback from various sources, ensuring it is accurately recorded and documented, and collaborate with the program to support routine data collection in accordance with the M&E/MEAL project plan.
  • Support collection efforts data within the proactive channel by conducting surveys (customer satisfaction surveys, focus group discussions and interviews with key informants).
  • Working with the hotline: in accordance with the requirements of the standard operational procedures in Ukraine for customer response and accountability and protection, answer calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and assistance to callers.
  • Closing the loop: In close cooperation with the Response and Accountability Specialist customers and the responsible persons of the feedback sector to ensure a timely response to all appeals by providing clear and detailed explanations of the actions taken in response to their comments and suggestions.
  • Ensure that all feedback is recorded in the feedback register and keep the monitoring and customer databases up to date.
  • Conduct monitoring visits and prepare simple reports.< /li>
  • Other related duties as assigned by Customer Response and Accountability Specialist and/or Customer Response and Accountability Manager.

  •  OFFICIALS REQUIREMENTS

    Education:Bachelor's degree in management, social sciences, law or other fields.

    Work experience: Experience working on a hotline, collecting customer feedback and/or course work on research monitoring methods and assessment, quantitative and qualitative analysis is an advantage.

    Available skills and abilities:

     

      < li>Ability to carry out M&E/MEAL activities based on the instructions of the supervisor;
    • Having a basic understanding of monitoring mechanisms and functions and customer feedback;
    • Experience of working with communities, youth and adults of various backgrounds;
    • Good written and oral communication skills;
    • Fluency in Microsoft programs Office, especially Excel and Word;
    • Willingness to travel to different regional locations and field offices;
    • Language: Ukrainian, Russian - fluent; English - working level (B1).

The IRC investigative unit consists of specialists and qualified investigators who conduct professional investigations focused on the interests of victims. They get involved if security violations are reported through the reliable and convenient communication channels that IRC creates for its employees, partners and customers. The IRC is also an active member of the Interagency Working Group on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Violence (PSEA) established in Ukraine.
