"Tenth of April" is a public organization that works to improve the protection of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the population affected by the conflict, by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian aid, promotes legislative changes, involvement of communities in responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with authorities and supporting their capacity, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive team player who is interested in communication, effective communication and self-development with the goal of protecting internally displaced persons and persons affected by conflict.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Community Engagement Consultant as a team member is expected to:
- identify volunteers, initiative groups and/or associations of citizens, organizations that provide assistance to IDPs and persons affected by the conflict with the aim of establishing cooperation;
- provide advisory and methodical support on issues of organizational development to volunteers/initiative groups/associations of citizens/organizations engaged in public activities, support them in the development and implementation of public initiatives;
- model, organize and conduct educational and educational activities, as well as activities aimed at expanding community opportunities;
- collect, verify and analyze information with the aim of identifying human rights violations and risks faced by IDPs and other affected population groups;
- hold meetings and communication with IDPs and persons affected by hostilitiesactions, identify needs, identify the most vulnerable categories of persons;
- process requests for assistance based on the conducted assessment;
- provide advisory assistance, dissemination of information about access to social services, legal, psychological and other types of assistance;
- develop informational materials;
- make reports, descriptive reports with quantitative and qualitative indicators and other internal organizational documentation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences or other relevant field.
- Experience in the field of protection of vulnerable populations is welcome. Candidates with experience in education, human rights protection, social work, communications, advocacy, journalism, international relations, research, community development or other relevant disciplines are invited to participate.
- Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome.
- The candidate is expected quick learning and adaptation.
- Ability and ability to solve activity tasks within the limits of assigned duties and project goals;
