JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our client’s team.

As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative ML-powered features to enhance the functionality of our photo editing tools for macOS, iOS and visionOS.

About the product, please ask recruiter. But in 2 words this is Photo editing app with already on the market 17 years.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in computer vision and image processing. You will be responsible for applying advanced machine learning techniques to address a range of complex problems. Some examples of these problems include image segmentation, deblurring, depth estimation, RAW image processing, denoising and others.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of industry experience with strong ML and computer vision fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with building Deep Learning models
• Proficiency in using ML toolkits, e.g., PyTorch
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong software engineering skills in Python to create scalable and robust infrastructure for deep learning data, modeling, and evaluation systems
• Proven ability to train and debug deep learning systems: defining metrics and datasets, performing error analysis and training models in a modern ML framework
• Familiarity with researching current ML literature and math, including optimization methods and modeling techniques
• Strong experience in the transition of a prototype into a final product
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and have the ability to work hands-on in multi-functional teams

M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, or a related field (mathematics, physics, statistics or computer engineering) preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in applied ML and/or product development preferred.

Where we work

We operate from our dedicated workspace located in Vilnius, Lithuania. For this role, we anticipate working primarily in-office. However, after the initial probationary period, we may offer a hybrid model (3 days per week) if necessary.

Exceptions for remote-only work may be considered, and this is the default arrangement for all candidates from Ukraine .
