Our client, a Solution Provider in STM Publishing, specializes in Open Access publishing activities and the transition to Open Access. Their project involves implementing and customizing free, open-source tools to create innovative solutions. Working with publishers, institutions, and funders, the team composition consists of 5 individuals including back-end and front-end developers, a project manager, and a DevOps expert. Together, they collaborate to drive progress and deliver exceptional results in the ever-evolving landscape of STM publishing and Open Access initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining web applications;
- Create efficient and secure code using best practices;
- Collaborate with other developers to ensure the application is scalable and performant;
- Troubleshoot and debug web applications;
- Self-testing of created code.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency (min 3-4 years of working experience) in Node.js (Typescript/Javascript);
- Experience with Serverless Framework is a must;
- Practical experience with AWS services is a must , including Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Fargate, S3, SSM, VPC networking, SNS, Cognito, API Gateway, Cloudwatch;
- Intermediate strong level of English.
Would be a plus:
- PostgreSQL and Docker knowledge.
