Middle/Senior MS SQL Developer in DOIT Software

Position Overview:

We seek a skilled Middle/Senior SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in creating, maintaining, and optimizing our database schemas, queries, and stored procedures to support our financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL Server and T-SQL, coupled with a keen eye for data quality and integrity.

Skills:

Our environment is a bit complex and requires a strong knowledge of MS SQL Server/Transact SQL, scripting, ETL (procedural), and a familiarity with GIT, BitBucket, FTP, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable SQL code.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of databases.
- Collaborate with development teams and business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.

- Optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
- Implement data protection and security measures.

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server and T-SQL.

- Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
- Previous experience with DBA tasks such as backups, restores, and monitoring.

- Knowledge of data protection laws and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
