We are inviting a qualified and experienced Electronic Developer to join the team of our new client who is engaged in the development of a smart home in the field of IoT.

The Electronic Developer's responsibilities will include creating specifications for hardware testing, implementing Altium validations, and developing interfaces for testing hardware modules.

PROJECT

The project involves the development of advanced solutions to support routing. This is a technology-rich project that provides a unique opportunity to work on the integration of the development of specialized interfaces for testing hardware modules and the implementation of Altium validations, ensuring design integrity and adherence to industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain hardware test specifications to ensure thorough testing of routing hardware support
  • Calculate ripple impedance to ensure proper operation of high-speed transmission lines and technical compliance
  • Perform Altium inspections to determine structural integrity and industry standards
  • Develop hardware module inspection interfaces for efficient and accurate testing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test solutions into the hardware development process
  • Perform hardware testing, analyze results, and provide feedback to improve design
  • Document test procedures , results and conclusions for further use and continuous improvement
  • Be aware of industry trends and best practices in hardware testing methodologies

REQUIREMENTS

  • Deep knowledge of Altium Designer, PCB layout and design rule verification
  • Ability to interpret and implement Altium rule lists derived from industry standard specifications
  • Design experience and test board designs for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, including schematic design, PCB layout, and firmware development
  • Experience in high-speed transmission line impedance calculations in electronic circuits and printed circuit boards
  • Deep understanding of functional test specificationscircuit testing (FCT) and experience developing and executing FCT test plans
  • Knowledge of Ethernet
  • Knowledge of hardware test methodologies and tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and peripheral scanning
  • >
  • Knowledge of hardware debugging and troubleshooting methodologies
  • English language proficiency at a level not lower than Upper-Intermediate
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of electrical engineering, computer engineering or related fields

  • Develop and maintain Hardware Test Specifications to ensure thorough testing of routing support hardware
  • Calculate wave impedance to ensure the proper functioning of high- speed transmission lines and compliance with technical requirements
  • Conduct Altium checks to verify design integrity and adherence to industry standards
  • Design HW Module Test Interfaces for efficient and accurate testing of hardware modules

  • Execute hardware tests, analyze results, and provide feedback for design improvements
  • Document test procedures, results, and findings for future reference and continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of Altium Designer, PCB layout, and design rule checking
  • Proficiency in interpreting and implementing Altium Rule Lists derived from industry-standard domain specifications
  • Experience designing and developing Interface Test Boards for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, including schematic design, PCB layout, and firmware development
  • Experience calculating wave impedance for high-speed transmission lines in electronic circuits and PCBs
  • Solid understanding of Functional Circuit Test (FCT) Specifications and experience developing and executing FCT test plans
  • Knowledge of Ethernet
  • Strong familiarity with hardware testing methodologies and tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and boundary scan testing
  • Knowledge of hardware debugging techniques and troubleshooting methodologies
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

WOULD BE A PLUS:

  • Prior experience with hardware validation, verification, and certification processes
