Middle+/Senior C# Engineer (Desktop app) in DefTech Agency

Our client is a technology company that is a recognized leader in the field of aviation solutions for the needs of Ukraine. The unmanned systems created by this team have already completed tens of thousands of successful combat sorties and gained international recognition due to their high efficiency and reliability.

We are currently looking for a C# Engineer (Middle+/Senior) to the R&D team. Hybrid work format (remote, with periodic trips to the office 1-2 times a month), full-time employment.

What will be included in your duties:

• Development of desktop application for ground control station of BpAK.
• Integration with communication protocols: MAVLink, TCP/UDP, SerialPort.
• Working with geodata, maps, video streams and attached equipment.
• Creation of planning tools flights.
• Support and development of the client-server application.
• Participation in the development of modules in accordance with STANAG requirements.

What is important:

• Higher technical education (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related major).
• 4+ years of commercial development experience in C#.
• Understanding of OP, SOLID and basic architectural patterns.
• Practical experience in the development of desktop applications (WPF, WinForms).
• Confidence in multithreading and asynchronous programming.
• Experience in writing unit tests and participation in integration testing.
• Working with APIs, protocols TCP/UDP, SerialPort(Knowledge of MAVLink will be a big plus).
• Experience with Git, Jiraand other team development tools.
• Understanding the principles of Agile/Scrum.
• English at the level of reading technical documentation.

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with video streams and/or image processing.
• Knowledge of libraries for working with maps and geodata (eg gmap.core).
