Middle+/Senior C# Engineer in DefTech Agency

DefTech Agency is aniche recruiting agency that helps defense and deeptech product companies build strong engineering teams. We cooperate with companies that develop fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) - high-precision solutions that perform critical combat and reconnaissance missions every day.

Our client is a recognized leader in the field of aviation solutions for Ukraine. The unmanned systems created by this team have already performed tens of thousands of successful combat sorties and gained international recognition due to their high efficiency and reliability.

We are now looking for C# Engineer (Middle+/Senior) to the R&D team. The office format is full-time.

Your tasks:

• Development of a desktop application for the ground control station of the BpAK.
• Integration with communication protocols: MAVLink, TCP/UDP, SerialPort.
• Work with geodata, maps, video streams and attachments.
• Creation of flight planning tools.
• Support and development of client-server application.
• Participation in the development of modules in accordance with STANAG requirements.

What we expect:

3+ years of experience in C# development.
• principles of OOP, SOLID and basic architectural patterns.
• Practical experience in the development of desktop applications (WPF, WinForms).
• Confident mastery of multithreading and asynchronous programming.
• Experience in writing unit tests and participation in integration testing.
• Working with API, protocols TCP/UDP, SerialPort (knowledge of MAVLink will be a big plus).
• English - at the level of reading technical documentation.

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with video streams and/or image processing.
• Knowledge of map and geodata libraries (eg gmap.core).
