Middle QA Tester (Manual + AI) in NextDoorCoders

We are looking for an attentive and persistent candidate who is ready to become part of our team and take on the duties of a manual tester.

Our company is actively working on many projects, including their development and further support. To ensure the high quality of products, we need a specialist who is able to test both small tasks before handing over to the customer, and large functional blocks and projects as a whole.

We offer:

Will be a plus:

• experience or interest in using AI tools in testing;
• ability to apply AI to speed up preparation test cases and analysis of requirements;
• understanding of the life cycle of a task from idea to release;
• attention to details and responsibility.

Main duties:

• testing of new features and fixed bugs (re-testing);
• testing of existing projects for the presence of bugs;
• repetitive checking the main functions of the site after global updates and updates;
• formation and design of bug reports in our CRM;
• participation in the formation of tasks together with the Project Manager, with the addition of technical points that must be taken into account by the developer;
• formation of tasks based on the client's description or video (in the absence of technical documentation);
• writing clear and structured tasks for further development using AI tools (correct description of functionality and expected behavior);
• effective communication with developers: clarifying the status of bug fixes, clear explanation of the essence of the problem and scenarios for its reproduction;
• quality assessment of interfaces without a ready-made design or TK from the point of view of convenience and expectations of the end user;
• checking the implemented functionality for compliance with business logic and user scenarios in cases of lack of detailed TK;
• attention to details: reconciliation of prototypes and design with finished layout or integration, detection of visual and functional inaccuracies.
• multitasking: ability to work effectively with several projects and several developers within one working day, correctly prioritizing tasks.

The selection process consists of several stages:

1. Short communication in Telegram - we will send a few questions to which we will expect written answers.
2. Test task — record a short video of the testing process of any site (you can choose the site yourself). It is important to us: what tools you use during testing, how you reason and analyze the product during the verification process, and what details, scenarios and potential problems you pay attention to.
3. Online call - introduction, discussion of your experience, answers to our questions and the opportunity to ask your own.
