Middle QA Engineer (Backend) in Softengi

High-load project in the telecom industry.

Your qualification:

Experience:

• 2+ years of proven experience as a QA engineer with a focus on the backend side
• Critical thinking and strong requirements analyzing skills
• Quick learning and desire for self-development
• Strong knowledge and real practical experience with API testing
• Experience with performance testing
• Experience in Linux/UNIX command line
• NoSQL DB (Cassandra)
• Kafka message broker
• Experience with SQL DB and SQL requests
• Experience in writing test documentation (test plans/test strategy/test cases/bug reports)
• Basic automation skills (Java is a plus + Postman)
• Practical skills with Git
• Experience with MOCK-SERVER

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of TCP, HTTP, and SMPP protocols
• Understanding of client-server and microservices architectures

• Confident knowledge of testing methodologies

• Confluence, Jira, Zephyr
• DBEaver
• Jmeter
• GitLab, Jenkins

• Kibana, Grafana

   

General:

• Higher technical education or other relevant experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment in tight collaboration with a development team
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment, readiness to learn in the direction of automation
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• English is spoken and written at the intermediate level or higher
