Middle PHP Developer in Kosmonova

We are currently looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our development team. If you like working with complex systems where every second and every SQL query counts - this is the role for you.

What you will do:

• Develop the core: develop new functionality for billing systems, internal services and control panels.
• Optimize performance: do code profiling, SQL query acceleration and algorithm refactoring for high workloads.
• Work with data: write complex queries, analyze data for reports and interact with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle).
• Maintain the ecosystem: work with chatbots (Viber, Telegram), corporate websites and integrate external services (payment systems, newsletters).
• Legacy as a challenge: refactor and stabilize the existing code, turning it into a modern one architecture.
• Administer the environment: basic work with Linux (cron, supervisor, logs, scripts).

• Convenient services: client site, personal account and chatbots work quickly and without errors.
• Working with data: you help analysts get the right numbers (BI) for reports.
• A single ecosystem: all third-party services easily and stably "communicate" with our billing.

We expect from you:

• Technical background: commercial development experience in PHP 7-8 (knowledge of PHP 5 will be a plus).
• Architectural knowledge: confident command of OOP, SOLID and design patterns.
• Work with DB: deep understanding of SQL. Experience with Oracle will be your strong advantage.
• API experience: REST API development and integration with various web services.
• Profiling skills: experience with xhprof or other profilers.
• Tools: Git, Symfony (or own frameworks), Redis/Memcached, Docker.
• Qualities: independence, systems thinking and readiness take responsibility for product stability in production.
