Middle Manual QA Engineer (Back-end) in Ajax Systems

R&D, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA, is responsible for the development of devices at Ajax.

p>Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems accompanies the product both at the development stage and in the process of production and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and floods.

To maintain the quality and stability of the system, we are looking for Middle Manual Quality Assurance Engineer.

Skills required:

• 2+ years of experience of manual Back-end testing;
• excellent knowledge of testing theory;
• ability to apply test design techniques;
• knowledge of SDLC;
• experience work with requirements and TK;
• good analytical skills;
• ability not only to find the problem, but also to find the cause and effect relationship;
• experience working with JIRA , Confluence, Testrail;
• basic knowledge of Windows/MacOS/Linux;
• experience with client-server architecture; experience with API (Postman) and testing methods;
• experience with SQL/NoSQL;
• experience with logs and logging systems;
• basic knowledge of networks;
• experience with Git and Jenkins;
• knowledge of binary and hexadecimal number systems;
• high level of self-organization.

Tasks:

• back-end testing;
• work with proprietary binary protocol and gRPC;
• work with monolithic and microservice architectures;
• work with MySQL and MongoDB;
• work with QA Tools (emulators);
• participation in the analysis and updating of documentation;
• interaction with other teams and departments (developers, business analysts );
• interaction with Beta Test participants and Support team;
• work with Git and Jenkins.

Will be a plus:< /p>

• work experience with performance testing;
• basic knowledge of Python;
• work experience with gRPC;
• work experience with MondoDB;
• experience with Docker;
• experience with DataDog, understanding of metrics.
