Middle Manual QA Engineer (Back-end) in Ajax Systems

R&D is responsible for device development at Ajax, which consists of four departments: System, Device, Automation and QA.

p>Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QA Department at Ajax Systems accompanies the product both at the development stage and in the process of production and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and floods.

To maintain the quality and stability of the system, we are looking for Middle Manual Quality Assurance Engineer.

Skills required:

• 2+ years of experience MQA, of which 1+ experience in backend testing;
• Knowledge of client-server architecture; 
• Knowledge of API (Postman) and its testing methods;
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB);
• Basic knowledge of networks (network), Linux;

• Working with logs and logging systems;
• Knowledge of STLC and its application in practice (building testing processes);
• Working with requirements (static testing), their decomposition in test documentation;
• Writing all types of test documentation (Jira/TestRail).

Tasks:

• Backend testing, namely: cloud server;
• Working with various protocols: low-level binaries, API, gRPC;
• Supporting programmers during development;
• Help technical support in the analysis of complex cases;
• Ability to take responsibility for a separate part of the project.

It will be a plus:

• Understanding of metrics and experience with DataDog, Grafana;
• Performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others);
• Proficiency in Python;
• Experience work with BloomRPC, Kibana, Docker, AWS;
• Understanding embedded systems.
