R&D, which consists of four, is responsible for the development of devices at Ajax departments: System, Device, Automation and QA.
Automation Department is engaged in the development of software and hardware complexes for testing each device in the production process, creates robotic lines for automating assembly and packaging. And also develops software for device firmware and production management, which allows to optimize the time spent on the manufacture of sensors. Python 3 and Embedded C are used for this.
What is technically interesting about the vacancy?
The microservices architectural style is an approach where a single application is built as a collection of small, independent, self-contained, loosely coupled services that can communicate at the application level using various API frameworks such as REST, gRPC etc.
Our QA team is dedicated to ensuring a stable and smooth operation of the service, optimization of its use and speed with the help of infrastructure improvement. We are looking for a technical specialist for testing the services of the Ajax Systems company. Work with APIs of own and third-party services, GUI testing, interaction with databases is expected.
Required knowledge and skills:
- 2+ years of experience as a quality engineer in projects with micro-service architecture;
- Technical education is a must;
- Perfect knowledge of client-server architecture;
- Knowledge of monolithic and micro-service architecture;
- Knowledge of API and its testing methods and experience in API automation;
- Know HTTP protocol;
- Experience with Git, MySQL/DBeaver;
- Excellent knowledge of testing theory and the ability to apply test design techniques;
- Ability to write bug reports and test cases;
- Experience with requirements and TOR;
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence , Testrail, Kibana;
- Experience of working with the terminal in Unix systems;
- Ability not only to find the problem, but also the cause-and-effect relationship.
It will be a plus:
- Experience/basic knowledge of working with electrical engineering;
- Knowledge of binary and hexadecimalof decimal number systems;
Tasks:
- API testing and automation;
- Find the problem in monolithic and micro-service architecture;
- li>Not only to find bugs, but also with the help of logs and external manifestations to find out the reasons for incorrect system behavior;
- A lot of investing and troubleshooting;
- Participation in analysis and documentation updates
- Validate the system for functional and non-functional requirements;
- Write checklists, test cases, test plans;
- Work with Git;
- li>Participation in the optimization of testing processes;
- Improve the quality of the system as a whole.
