Middle Investment Analyst for BRNR Fund in Boosta

We are BRNR — a corporate investment fund of Boosta, an international IT company with a portfolio of successful products and affiliate marketing teams. Since 2023, we have invested in 9 projects and currently manage a portfolio of more than 15 projects.

Now we are looking for an Investment Analyst to join our Investment and Portfolio Management team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 2+ years of experience in either Big-4 corporate finance, investment banking, private equity/VC, management consulting, or top local or international businesses.
• Experience and high interest in product IT.
• Economics or finance degree from a top-tier Ukrainian or foreign university. International qualifications like ACCA, CFA, CIMA, completed or in progress, would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills — Upper Intermediate level.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Structured thinking and ability to take data-driven business decisions (you can hardly bet without knowing and correctly interpreting data).
• Strong communication and written skills. You should be ready to convince opponents on the truth of your judgments (we are seeking a candidate who can intelligently argue with the Founders of our Portfolio companies).
• Proactive self-starter, with proven ability to initiate and realize business changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The investment and Portfolio Management team is responsible for the full cycle of the investment process, including: Deal Origination, Deal Execution, and Post-investment Portfolio management.

Your main responsibilities, as an Investment Analyst, will include:

• Proactively source new investment opportunities. Develop relationships with target companies and their founders.
• Cover the investment analysis process, including: initial information request, financial statement analysis and preparation of financial models, market research, drafting of potential deal terms, and further negotiations.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio companies’ financial and operational performance to ensure they meet their growth objectives.
• Serve on advisory boards of portfolio entities, organizing and actively participating in board meetings, budgeting, forecasting processes, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Boosta`s internal departments, including finance, legal, marketing, product, and service teams. On top of that, we offer you autonomy to create new areas of responsibility, where it creates value for the BRNR.
