Middle+ Full-stack developer (PHP, Symfony + Vue.js) in Chekboks

Checkbox is a Ukrainian product, a business management tool for small and medium-sized enterprises. This is a software cash register that completely replaces a cash register and turns a smartphone / tablet / PC / POS terminal into a POS terminal, a terminal and a scanner.

The service was started by Dmytro Dubilet and Andriy Sukhov, who together with the IT team since 2020 engaged in the development and implementation of PRRO.

We are currently looking for a cool and energetic Middle+ Full-stack developer (PHP, Symfony + Vue.js) or Middle+ PHP developer (PHP, Symfony) to join the team. strong> who will strengthen the team and actively develop the product with us.

Technologies we use in our work:

• Php 7.3-8.3
• Symfony, Api Platform
• PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch;
• Redis/KeyDb, Apache Kafka
• Docker,  Kubernetes

What we expect from the candidate:

• Experience in developing web applications 4+ years
• Excellent knowledge of PHP
• Understanding and practical use of principles/patterns of OOP, SOLID, KISS, MVC... etc.
• Recent experience with Symfony/ Doctrine ORM  (3+ years)
• Ability to work with message brokers;
• Understanding the principles and experience of RESTful API development;
• Experience with SQL databases (3 + years), ability to write queries and optimize them, ability to design data models
• Experience with Docker, Docker-compose, Git
• ability to work in a team

Will be a plus:

• Ability to work with Api Platform (Symfony)
• experience with noSql databases,
• Ability to develop and implement microservices
• ability to develop frontend applications (javascript, html, css, vue.js, spa)
