In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both internal and commercial projects (especially to a fintech service tailored for EU clients). As a vital link between the business and engineering teams, you will leverage your knowledge of business processes and technology to assist our stakeholders in attaining their desired outcomes.General project description An innovative fintech platform is transforming how consumers manage finances and make purchases using BNPL. It offers seamless payment solutions, integrating with various merchants for online and in-store shopping. It provides their users flexible payment options, real-time spending insights, and robust security measures, enhancing their financial management and shopping experiences.YOUR BACKGROUNDA minimum of 2 years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects in FintechSpecific domain knowledge of blocks of Financial Services capabilities (for example, Banking Products, Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, Finance, Treasury, Channel Applications, etc.)Good understanding of SDLC and familiarity with Web/Mobile development approachesExperience with visual modelling languages (such as UML and BPMN)Strong BA knowledge of every phase of software developmentExperience with requirements elicitation techniques, requirements gathering and ability to identify business needsExperience in translating business requirements into comprehensive technical documentation (including writing use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria)Experience with tracking tools and requirements management tools (such as Jira and Confluence)Proficiency in creating wireframes and screen mockupsB2 (Upper-Intermediate)Skills that will be a plus:Experience with Presale activity and Discovery PhaseTechnical backgroundResponsibilitiesCollaborating with stakeholders to elicit and gather all requirements for projectsDocumenting requirements by creating vision and scope documents, use cases, user stories, and defining functional and non-functional requirementsWorking closely with the development team and product team to understand the features and operational procedures of products and processesEngaging in requirements management, ensuring clear tracking and organization of requirements throughout the project lifecyclePerforming requirements analysis to identify gaps, conflicts, and potential areas for improvementActively participating in design, development, and technical meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to the decision-making processOffering recommendations for solutions and improvements based on business needs and best practicesEnsuring that documentation is consistently updated and maintained for each product release, reflecting any changes or updates accuratelyBefore we consider you, please answer 3 questions:Have you worked on projects within the fintech industry?
