Apiko is looking for a talented Middle Business Analyst to join our team and support the development and optimization of our projects.

Our client is a renowned global provider of enterprise facility management solutions. The company streamlines interactions between organizations and service providers, reducing paperwork and inefficiencies. Their comprehensive app features work order management, invoice tracking, supplier selection, and reporting. It serves various industries by offering customizable, integrative tools that enhance operational efficiency. The platform’s continuous optimization since its inception ensures it meets evolving business needs effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on pre-sale activities with Sales, PM, and Technical teams.
• Define and prioritize the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) scope.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into software requirements.
• Manage stakeholder collaboration to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring their requirements are met, etc.
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements using various BA tools and techniques.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements, create technical documentation, develop user stories/use cases.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure user-friendly and effective interface designs.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Facilitate estimation sessions with the development team.
• Participate in Sprint Planning sessions to provide clarity and detail necessary for the development team to understand the product backlog items.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
• Facilitate Sprint Review sessions to present completed work to stakeholders (demos), gather feedback, and discuss progress made during the sprint.
• Provide ongoing support to end users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the implemented solution.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working as a Business/System Analyst.
• Experience in working on multiple projects in parallel.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development process.
• Solid knowledge of business analysis approaches and best practices.
• Experience with best practices of requirements documentation (use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Practical knowledge of requirements decomposition.
• Strong ability to create and interpret UML and BPMN diagrams.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining the Work-Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Experience in developing and maintaining Product Roadmap.
• Confidence in using wiki- and issue-tracking systems (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level (B2+) or above;
• Location in Ternopil or Ivano-Frankivsk.

Nice to have:

• Robust technical background (understanding of API, database principles, client-server architecture, etc.).
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, knowledge of prototyping tools like Figma, Balsamiq is an asset.
• Professional Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CPRE-IREB, ECBA, CCBA — IIBA) is advantageous.
