Middle Business Analyst in PZU Ukraina / PZU Ukrayina SK PrAT / PZU Ukraina ChAO

The European company PZU -one of the leaders in the insurance market in Ukraine invites a specialist to the position of Middle Business Analyst.

Main functional responsibilities:

• Collection, analysis and formalization of business requirements from customers, users and other stakeholders.
• Conducting meetings with the business and team to clarify needs, goals, constraints and expected results.
• Description and documentation of requirements in the form of user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, BPMN/UML diagrams.
• Analysis and modeling of business processes, identification of areas for optimization and automation.
• Preparation of functional and non-functional requirements for the product/system.
• Decomposition of business needs into understandable tasks for the development team, backlog support in the current state.
• Setting tasks for the development team and supporting their implementation at all stages of the life cycle.
• Coordinating requirements between business, development, QA and other project participants.
• Supporting the team during development and testing: clarifying logic, clarifying requirements, working out changes.
• Participation in acceptance testing (UAT), preparation verification scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Requirement change control: assessment of the impact of changes on the product, processes, deadlines and priorities.
• Preparation of analytical materials, specifications, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support and development of existing solutions, analysis of incidents and suggestions for improvements.
• Participation in the discovery phase / presale / evaluation of new initiatives as needed.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the field of information technology, computer science, mathematics or related discipline.
• Experience in the position of Business Analyst from 2 years.
• Practical experience of collecting, analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Experience of preparing functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria.
• Experience of modeling and describing business processes (as-is / to-be).
• Practice of interaction with business customers, users, development team, QA.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams.
• Experience supporting requirements throughout the full development life cycle — from discovery to release.
• Experience in working through changes to requirements, impact analysis and agreeing solutions with stakeholders.
• Experience participating in testing, UAT or validation of implemented functional.
• Skills in working with tools for documentation and visualization: Jira, Confluence, Draw.io, Figma or similar.
• Basic understanding of IT system architecture, integrations, APIs, data exchange between systems.
• Skills in structuring a large amount of information and turning it into understandable documentation.
