We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our core team ( Outposts.com ) to provide quality consulting and improve customer experience in order to achieve better business metrics.

Requirements:

— 2+ years of experience as Cloud/DevOps Engineer;

— Strong experience with public cloud services, especially AWS;

— Practical experience in CI/CD processes automation;

— Scripting experience (Bash, Python);

— Working experience with Terraform;

— Strong knowledge of Networking and Security standards;

— Good technical written and spoken English.

As a plus:

— Commercial experience with Kubernetes and previous experience in web development, system administration or QA;

— Availability of AWS and Kubernetes certificates.

Responsibilities:

— Flexible configuration of cloud and third-party services, and cloud budget optimization;

— Implementing a GitOps approach from scratch for different project sizes and specifics;

— Deploying the infrastructure of the project declaratively from scratch according to the road map;

— Automation of CI/CD processes;

— Setting up logging and monitoring systems, with graphic dashboards and alerting systems;

— Database configuration, replication and disaster recovery plan implementation;

— Migration of applications and data to the cloud, between the clouds;

— Support development processes and interaction with development teams on projects.

As a plus:

— Architecture planning. Forming the technological stack of the project, budgeting for infrastructure, designing services for the future scaling of the project and implementing solutions from scratch;

— Internal DevOps planning, mentoring of junior engineers.
