Ukrainian IT company Nova Digital , which is part of the group of companies NOVA is a powerful manufacturer of web applications and software for architectures of any complexity and workload. We create, maintain and constantly improve software products, the convenience of which has already been appreciated by 32 million private and business clients of Nova Poshta. We are expanding our team, so we are currently looking for a Middle Automation QA Engineer .

What you will do:

• Development and support of automated tests for both sides of products (Frontend / Backend: Playwright / Postman frameworks), effective integration of tests into CI/CD processes
• Active participation in the code-review processes of self-tests and the code optimization process
• Cooperation with the development team to identify and eliminate defects
• Proactivity, introducing own innovations, striving for excellence

About you:

• 2-3 years minimum relevant work experience in the Automation QA position (full time automation experience, experience with Web/mobile is a must)
• Knowledge of advanced test automation techniques and experience with modern tools such as Playwright / Postman (Selenium WebDriver/ Cypress / Insomnia, SoapUI, etc. as an alternative)
• Professional use of programming languages: JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with microservices architecture, experience developing tests to validate RESTful APIs
• Ability to use tools for continuous integration and continuous CI deployment /CD (GitLab)
• Deep understanding of version control systems and cloud services infrastructure (GitLab)
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with databases data in the test automation section
• Level of English language proficiency B1.
• Ability to use: logical, systematic, analytical and creative (non-standard, avant-garde) approaches to solving current tasks
• Focus on the result and critical not taking "impossible" for an answer. Finding ways to achieve goals, even if it requires specialized solutions and a creative approach
• Striving for perfection, focus on ultra-high-quality results and a pathological passion for automation :)

• Performance testing (load, stress, scalability testing)
• Security testing (penetration, forensic, vulnerability detection)
• Understanding of VueJS, PHP, Java (basic Frontend/Backend development experience will be)
