Mid DevOps Engineer (100% remote) @ Power Media in Power Media

Our client is a company based in the USA and Krakow that creates mobile and internet applications and corporate systems. We are currently looking for an ambitious person for the position of DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for creating, managing and operating AWS environments and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Place of work: 100% remotely/ Krakow

About the project: Application for veterinarians and animal owners. Any user who owns an animal can perform connection, and the application will find nearby vets and enable connection between them. The project includes mobile applications (iOS/Android) and back-end in Java using AWS infrastructure.

• good knowledge of Docker and containerization,
• experience with Kubernetes or ECS,
• proficiency in using Git,
• experience in writing scripts (bash or Python),
• understanding the concept of software development life cycle (SDLC), its phases and models,
• experience in integrating automatic tests with CI/CD pipelines,
• knowledge of Github, GitLab CI, Jenkins or Travis CI workflows,
• knowledge of AWS Management Console and CLI,
• understanding of IaC concepts and knowledge of at least one tool IaC, Terraform preferred,
• understanding of core AWS services including  Networking: VPC, API Gateway, Route 53,  Security : IAM,  Storage and file systems: S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, Management, monitoring and governance: CloudWatch, EventBridge, Auto Scaling, Secrets Manager, Databases: RDS;  Containers: ECS, Fargate;
• good knowledge of spoken and written English (min. B2).
