BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. come to the rescue first" is aimed at protecting and supporting the rights of internally displaced persons, the population affected by hostilities, stateless persons, as well as veterans and their families at the national, local and individual levels. The geography of activity includes the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and project needs.

General job description

Methodologist in the program to support veterans, veterans and their family members (hereinafter - Methodologist) will be responsible for methodological support and development of standard procedures for the implementation of measures in the program of support for veterans and their family members. The methodologist works under the supervision of the Program Coordinator for the support of veterans, female veterans and their family members (hereinafter - the Program Coordinator) and will report to the Program Coordinator and the Project Coordinator. normal; text-decoration: none">create and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) under the direct supervision of the program coordinators and employees of these programs, veterans and members of their families;

  • monitor the results of implemented methods, SOPs, analyze their effectiveness; 

  • identify shortcomings in processes and approaches, and make changes, improve existing procedures in the work of the program of support for veterans, veterans and their family members;

  • develop and implement (if necessary together with other project methodologists) methodological recommendations and practical tools, including for stakeholders, for working with the project's target audience;

  • monitor changes in legislation and judicial practice that relate to the status, benefits and assistance of veterans and their family members;

  • track new research, analytical and other documents related to the status, benefits and assistance of veterans and their family members;

  • prepare a monthly digest of changes in legislation and judicial practice, research, analytical and other documents related to the status, benefits and assistance of veterans and their family members;

  • to study and adapt the international experience of working with veterans and their family members;

  • conduct short analytical studies and develop strategies to respond to systemic or individual problems faced by veterans and their family members;

  • prepare and conduct lectures, webinars, trainings for project employees and, if necessary, for partners;

  • cooperate with the Program Coordinator, coordinators of other programs and their employees on the development of short-term plans, identification and prioritization of short-term goals, target groups of beneficiaries, places of work, planning of the main areas of program activity;

  • hold monthly coordination meetings with other methodologists of the program to support veterans, veterans and their family members;

  • prepare and ensure the provision of accurate, meaningful and timely statistical and analytical reports (upon request), other relevant working documents;

  • establishing contacts with organizations to solve systemic or individual problems of veterans and their families;

  • take part in the development of innovative approaches to the implementation of veterans and their families support programs for veterans and their family members;

  • perform other duties at the request of the Program Coordinator;

  • Comply with the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.
