The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a recognized leader of the human rights movement in Ukraine. The Foundation has strong positions in the field of protection of the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees and stateless persons. Since the beginning of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Fund has been monitoring the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal and psychosocial assistance and strengthening humanitarian response in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Today the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION p>
The position will operate withinproject "Inclusive protection networks in Ukraine", which purpose is the creation of an inclusive system of support for veterans aimed at their social, psychological, legal and economic reintegration through the development of mobile services, strengthening the capacities of public organizations and promoting social cohesion at the community level
Project goal to provide direct services to veterans and their families, as well as civilians affected by the effects of war, with special attention to those living in remote or underserved areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of standard operating procedures (SOP) for the provision of social services to veterans, including case management and home care.
Training of social assistance and protection program specialists in methods and forms of work with veterans.
Ensuring methodological support for the provision of social services to veterans and their family members during the implementation of the project "Inclusive networks of protection in Ukraine".
Coordination and participation in the development of innovative approaches to the provision of social services to veterans.
Organization and conduct trainings, seminars and other educational events to improve the qualifications of specialists.
Readiness for frequent business trips to monitor and support the implementation of social services in the regions.
Interaction with state and non-state institutions of the social sphere to ensure effective implementation of project goals.
Development of methodological materials, recommendations and other program documents for social work with veterans.
Providing supervisory support to social work professionals who will provide services to veterans and their family members.
Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education in the field of social, humanitarian or psychological sciences.
Experience in the field of providing social services (experience working with veterans or vulnerable population categories will be an advantage).
Knowledge of current legislation of Ukraine in the social sphere and basic types of social services.
Skills in the development and implementation of methods and standards of social work.
Excellent communication skills, ability to cooperate and interact in a team.
Experience in organizing educational events and staff training.
Willingness to work on business trips and remotely.
Understanding humanitarian principles and basics of working with veterans.
Skills of supervisory support of social work specialists.
TERMS OF WORK
Remote work, with the possibility of frequent business trips around Ukraine;
Contract until November 30, 2025 with the possibility of extension depending on the needs of the project and financing;
Competitive salary, determined by the results of the interview;
