Medical Skills Advisor in Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH

Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Ukraine is looking for a qualified professional for the project “Capacity Building in Diagnostic Radiography for Ukraine” to fill the position of the:

Medical Skills Advisor (full-time, Kyiv)

(internal SAP code: Health Advisor) 

The project «Capacity Building in Diagnostic Radiography for Ukraine» will be implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with other actors upon successfull commissioning. 

The objective of the project «Capacity Building in Diagnostic Radiography for Ukraine» is to enhance the capacity and clinical competency of radiographers in Ukraine to improve the quality and accuracy of medical imaging services. This will directly contribute to better patient outcomes through precise diagnostics, thus supporting healthcare recovering and improvement in the country.

Main activities:

• Communication and coordination with other counterparts (such as partner-organizations, Colleges and Hospitals).   
• Communication and coordination with the Ministry of Health and other relevant actors as required.
• Initiation and Oversight of an Assessment of Training Needs in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Oversight of the Curriculum Adaptation Process on Diagnostic Radiography. 
• Oversight of the Training of Trainers on Diagnostic Radiography.
• General content advisory on Skill Building in the Health Sector.
• Contribution to reporting and communication material on the project.

Required qualifications, experience and competences: 

• University Degree in Medicine, Health Studies or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in advisory in the Health Sector.
• Experience in Skill Development in the Health Sector. 
• Experience in stakeholder management and in the international context.
• Experience related to Radiography is an asset.
• Fluent in the Ukrainian and English language in verbal and written form.

Employment conditions

It’s a full-time position with 40 hours working week. Hiring completion will be dependent on successful commissioning and is anticipated to start on 1st of June and last until 31st December 2026.
