Manual QA Engineer in ViSoft

 Requirements:

Deep knowledge of Windows operating system and hardware:
• Ability to create and configure user accounts, assigning appropriate access rights.
• Skills in installing, updating, and uninstalling software.
• Ability to analyze and work with Windows logs.
• Understanding remote connections such as RDP and TeamViewer.
• Basic skills with command line (cmd) and PowerShell.
• Ability to install and reinstall Windows OS, including setting up necessary drivers and related software.
• Knowledge of current PC and laptop hardware on the market, understanding computer structure, and basic operating principles of its components.
Knowledge of virtualization:
• Understanding different types of virtual machines and experience working with them, particularly Hyper-V.
Experience in interior design:
• Preferably experienced with tiles or other interior elements such as kitchens and furniture.
Experience with ViSoft Premium:
• Practical experience using ViSoft Premium would be a significant advantage.
Knowledge of project management tools:
• Experience working with programs like Jira and Confluence used in the testing process.
English language proficiency:
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher to understand technical documentation and communicate with international teams.Basic skills in manual testing of desktop applications:
• Understanding testing processes, methodologies, and approaches.
• Skills in creating test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
• Knowledge of main testing types: functional, regression, integration, etc.
• Experience testing the installation, updating, and uninstallation of desktop applications.
Education and training:
• Commercial experience in testing is not required, but completing relevant courses and understanding all testing processes is necessary.
Additional skills and qualities:
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and diligence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under uncertainty and manage stress effectively.

Responsibilities:

-Maintaining technical documentation;
-Manual testing of Web/Mobile/Desktop/VR/ARapplications;
-Creating test cases;
-Performing regression, sanity, smoke, performance, exploratory/ad-hoc testing;
Detect, report, and track software defects;
Working with Jira, Confluence, and Xray Test Management
Communication with other members of the company.
