Manual QA Engineer in Ajax Systems

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer in the Mobile & Desktop applications (Apps) and Server (Back-end) teams for the Video Integration direction in Lviv.

This is the direction of Ajax Systems, which develops an ecosystem of video surveillance and analytics - a combination of advanced software, reliable hardware and artificial intelligence. The Video Integration Stream team is responsible for video streaming services, camera integration, image analytics and cloud infrastructure. We work with high-load systems, streaming video protocols, low-latency technologies and complex scenarios of interaction between devices and the server.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

• 1+ years of manual testing experience
• Excellent knowledge of testing theory and the ability to use them in practice
• Experience of working with requirements and TK
• Good analytical skills, the ability not only to find a problem, but also to find a cause and effect relationship
• Experience of working with logs and logging systems
• High level of self-organization

For QA Engineer in Mobile & Desktop applications (Apps) team we are looking for:

• Experience with Xcode, Android studio, PyCharm
• Understanding the specifics of Windows/MacOS/Linux and Android/iOS operating systems
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture
• Great if you have:
• REST API or gRPC experience
• Experience using mock server
• Experience with autotests

For a QA Engineer in the Server team (Back-end) team, we are looking for:

• Experience with client-server architecture based on microservices
• Experience with APIs
• Great if you have:
• Basic knowledge of Java or Python
• Experience with gRPC
• Experience with Kafka, Nats
• Experience with logging tools such as: Kibana/Grafana
• Experience with CI/CD management tools: Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP stack)
• Experience with DataDog, understanding metrics

What are tasks?

• Test new and existing functionality of mobile and desktop applications for QA Apps and Backend logic in microservice architecture for QA Server
• Work with MongoDB, Redis, S3 for QA Server
• Work with Simulator and Emulator for QA Apps
• Work with logs
• Work with protocols
• Passing regressions wounds
• Develop and maintain test documentation: test cases, traceability matrix, test plan
• Analysis of business requirements in TK and design
• Work with custom QA Tools
• Analysis of autotest results
• Participate in planning processes, task estimation
• Work in a team with developers, automatizers, PM, by business analysts, designers and QA of related platforms
