Mission and purpose of the position: ensuring the development and regulation of the direction of activity related to support of family forms education.
Functional responsibilities:
- Manages the activities of social work specialists, social workers, determines the degree of their responsibility.
- Distributes responsibilities between social work specialists, leads and controls their work.
- Organizes the development and implementation, within the scope of competence, of state and social programs, support plans for each DBST, foster families and families of foster carers and individual development plan (IDP) of each child.
- Supervises compliance by foster parents with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and international documents on issues related to the activities of DBST, adoptive families and families of foster parents and the upbringing of their children.
- Conducts analysis of the state and development trends of the relevant direction, the progress of implementation of plans related to this activity, takes measures to eliminate shortcomings and consolidate positive trends.
- Ensures the development of draft documents related to activities of DBST, foster families and families of foster carers, policies in the field of protection of children's rights.
- Identifies the needs and priority areas of training, retraining and advanced training of foster parents, foster parents, social work specialists, social workers, makes proposals for carrying out this work.
- Studies and effectively implements international experience.
- Organizes, ensures and monitors the provision of public services to DBST, foster families and families of foster carers within the established competence. Performs organizational work aimed at supporting and ensuring quality conditions for raising children in DBST, foster families and families of foster carers. Together with the relevant bodies of state power and local self-government, takes measures aimed at compliance with requirements regarding standards, norms and rules, ensuring the policy of protection of children's rights.
- Ensures compliance with the legislation of Ukraine and international normative legal acts on issues concern the protection of children's rights. Actively cooperates with services for children, participates in the meetings of the Commission for the Protection of Children's Rights.
- Participates in the organization and preparation of events held for children.
- Performs financial management of the service on social support of family forms of education and prepares reports on its implementation.
Requirements for candidates:
- Full higher education (specialist, master's degree) in the field of social sciences and social welfare, psychology, pedagogy, project management, economics, management, other related sciences.
- Experience as a coordinator, head or manager of a social project from 1 year.

- Practical experienceof working with children and families from 3 years old.
- Knowledge of current legislation on the protection of the rights of children and families, in particular, regarding the creation, ensuring the functioning and provision of social services to foster families, orphanages family type, to families of foster carers.
- Knowledge and practical skills in the field of providing social services to families raising orphans and children deprived of parental care care.
- Experience of working with state and public organizations.
